Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology is a leading public university under Vietnam’s Ministry of Science and Technology, and one of the country’s five key national universities in engineering and technology. Thirty thousand students study across its Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City campuses, supported by four research institutes and more than twenty-five laboratories.

Our History
The Begining
Vietnam establishes its first school of posts and radio engineering, training the technicians who would keep the country’s communications running through war and reconstruction.
PTIT Is Founded
By decision of the Prime Minister, four training centres and research institutes merge to form the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, combining teaching, research and industry practice under one roof.
Key National University
PTIT is designated a key national higher education institution in engineering and technology, with a mandate to supply the skills and research behind Viet Nam’s digital transformation.
The first Summer School begin
The first international summer school brings 60 students of 18 nationalities to Hanoi for fifteen days of building, mentoring and cultural exchange.
